We would like to inform you about the collection and processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website.

Data collection on our website:
When you use our website, your personal data is processed so that the contents of the website can be displayed on your device. This includes processing the IP address of the device you are using and relevant browser information to render the pages correctly in your browser.
For this purpose and for this interest, the following data are processed based on Legitimate Interest (Art. 6 DSGVO/ Art. 7, IX LGPD):
- an Internet protocol address (IP address) – only processed in real time, but not saved
- the operating system used by the accessing system
- the browser types and versions used
- name of the retrieved file
- the date and time of access
- transferred amount of data
- the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers).
The full IP address will not be saved. Only the first 6 digits (192.168.x.x) are saved. We can no longer create a personal reference from the remaining data.
The data is also used to detect and correct errors on the Internet pages.
If you reach out to us using our contact form, we process your first name, last name, and email address to enable us to respond efficiently to your message.
Legal basis for processing:
To be able to offer you our website and the associated services, we process personal data based on the following legal basis according to GDPR and LGPD:

- For the purpose of fulfilling pre-contractual measures or performing contractual obligations (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR and Art. 7, V LGPD)

Recipients / Transfer of data
Your data will not be shared with third parties for advertising purposes. The information you provide will only be used within the Pixida Group and will not be disclosed to external parties. Data processing by a Pixida Group company may take place outside your country of residence.
All Pixida Group companies operate under the same integrated management systems and hold certifications in information security, ensuring a consistently high level of data protection. For data transfers between Brazil and Germany, Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
This website has links to external websites as well as social media. Only once you click on a social media button or link, your browser establishes a direct connection to the server of the external websites. We have no influence on the extent of the data collected in this way by the operators of the websites and social networks.

We do not disclose your Personal Data to these Third-Party Sites unless we have a lawful basis on which to do so. Only when you click on an external link will data be transmitted to the link destination.
This is technically necessary due to the protocol on which the Internet is based (TCP/IP = TCP – Transfer Control Protocol + IP – Internet Protocol). You acknowledge and agree that third party sites are not under the control of Pixida GmbH (further as “Pixida”) and Pixida is not responsible for the contents of any third party sites, any links contained in third party sites, or any changes or updates to third party sites, including but not limited to the accuracy or availability of information provided by the third party sites, and makes no representations or warranties regarding the third party sites or your use of them. Pixida is not responsible for webcasting or any other form of transmission received from any third-party sites.
Clicking on external links can mean a transfer of data to third parties outside the European Union or the European Union Economic Area. If you do not want the data mentioned to be transferred to the link destination or to the third parties mentioned or to be accessed by others, do not click on the link.
Your Rights as a Data Subject:
If we process your personal data, you are considered a data subject under the “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDPR) and the “Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados” (LGPD). As a Data Subject, you have the following rights:
- Right to be informed: You have the right to receive clear, transparent, and easily accessible information regarding the collection and processing of your personal data, including the purposes, recipients, and storage period.
- Right of Access: You have the right to access your personal data processed by us. You also have the right to obtain confirmation whether your personal data is being processed by us or not. The requirements for exercising the right of access may vary depending on the individual’s location.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to obtain from us the rectification and/or completion of inaccurate/incomplete personal data concerning you. We must proceed with the rectification without undue delay.
- Right of restriction of the processing: You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions, which may vary depending on your jurisdiction.
- Right to erasure (“Right to be forgotten”): You have the right to require the deletion of your personal information under certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or when you withdraw your consent. The specific conditions and limitations for exercising this right may vary depending on the data protection laws applicable in your country or region.
- Information to third parties: Where the responsible has made personal data public and is obliged pursuant to Article 17(1) GDPR to erase the personal data, the responsible, taking account of available technology and the cost of implementation, shall take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform other controllers processing the personal data that the data subject has requested erasure by such responsible of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data, as far as processing is not required.
- Exceptions: The right to erasure does not exist if the processing is necessary:
- To exercise the right to freedom of expression and information
- To fulfil a legal obligation required by the law of the Union or of the Member States to which the responsibility is subject, or to carry out a task of public interest or in the exercise of public authority delegated to the responsible.

- for archival purposes of public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes acc. Article 89 (1) GDPR, to the extent that the law referred to in subparagraph (a) is likely to render impossible or seriously affect the achievement of the objectives of that processing, or
- to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Right to data portability: You have the right to receive personally identifiable information you provide to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. In addition, you have the right to transfer this data to another person without hindrance by the person responsible for providing the personal data, provided that:
- The data processing is based on a consent acc. Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR/ Art. 7, I LGPD or on contract acc. Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR/ Ar. 7, V LGPD and
- The data processing is done by automated means
In exercising this right, you also have the right to obtain that your personal data relating to you is transmitted directly from one person to another, insofar as this is technically feasible. Freedom and the rights of other people may not be affected.
The right to data portability does not apply to the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority delegated to the responsible.
- Right to object: You have the right to object on grounds relating to your situation, at any time, to object the processing of your personal data. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
- We shall no longer process your personal data in the event of the objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
- If the responsible processes personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing. This applies to profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to Pixida GmbH to the processing for direct marketing purposes, Pixida GmbH will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.
- Regardless of Directive 2002/58/EC, you have the option, in the context of the use of information society services, of exercising your right to object through automated procedures that use technical specifications.
- Right to withdraw your consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the consent until the withdrawal. You can exercise your right to withdraw in writing to our Data Protection Officer.
- Right to not be subject to automated decision-making: You have the right not to be affected by important decisions made only by automated systems, such as profiling, if those decisions could significantly impact you. This will only happen if required by law, necessary for a contract, or if you have clearly agreed to it.
- Right to complain to a data protection authority: Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement, if you believe that processing of the personal data concerning you violates against the GDPR or LGPD. The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been submitted shall inform the complainant of the status and results of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy.
Data subject rights may differ depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located.
Protection of personal data
This website protects the transmission of personal and confidential data (e.g., when submitting a contact request) with secure SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
Retention Period:
In principle, we retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above. Data will be deleted when further storage is no longer required, for example, if it is no longer needed to meet contractual obligations or legal requirements. Where legal retention obligations apply, deletion will take place only after the respective period has expired. Regarding our contact form, personal data is typically deleted six months after our last communication, in line with the principles of Storage Limitation (Art. 5 (1)(e) GDPR) and Purpose Limitation (Art. 5 (1)(b) GDPR).
